Richard Hale – Managing Director
B.Bus (Accounting), Dip.FP, Chartered Accountant
Richard commenced public practice in Kingston in 1997 (last century). He has a passion for all aspects of small business and the people who have the courage to tread this path. Richard can assist with tax minimisation, business structures, buying and selling a business etc. He is also a licenced business broker. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, bushwalking, woodwork, music, cafes, travel and anything involving family.
Belinda Fitzgerald – Managing Accountant
B.Bus (Accounting & Human Resources), Chartered Accountant
Belinda has over 25 years experience in the public practice environment. She specialises in accounting software setup and support and SMSF administration. Belinda has the knowledge and experience to find optimum outcomes for clients. Her focus is on developing great relationships to better understand the client’s business and financial goals. Belinda is also an accredited Xero consultant. When not working, she likes to unwind with a great book, explore the outdoors on a walk with her dogs or spend quality time camping with the family.
Jenny Leitch – Senior Accountant
B.Com (Accounting & Finance) Dip.FP CPA
Jenny joined the firm in 2016 after leaving a Finance Officer role with a not-for-profit association. She has extensive experience having worked in accounting, financial planning, taxation and bookkeeping, meeting the needs of a diverse mix of individuals and businesses. Jenny is also an accredited Xero consultant. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, kayaking, sudoku, and spending time with family. She also volunteers at Parkrun most Saturday mornings, supporting community fitness and participation.
Mital Sutariya – Senior Accountant and Xero Consultant
B.Com, CPA
Mital has more than 14 years of accounting and taxation experience, including over 10 years in Australia. She is passionate about helping clients improve efficiency, maintain compliance, and gain a clear understanding of their financial position to support informed business decisions and long-term growth. Mital works remotely from Melbourne after moving away from Kingston. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and exploring creative crafting projects. As a mother of two young children, she values balance, connection, and brings a people-focused approach to both her professional and personal life.
Leanne Gill – Office Administrator and Bookkeeper
Leanne was known to us for more than a decade as a part-owner of a successful business that was a long-term client of the firm until it was sold. Consequently she has a practical understanding and knowledge of business issues. Leanne is experienced with the use of MYOB and Xero and provides bookkeeping services to our clients. In her leisure time, Leanne enjoys wining and dining, travelling and family activities.
Chloe Flakemore – Tax and Xero Consultant
Chloe divides her time between tax return / BAS preparation and bookkeeping. She has worked in the industry for more than fifteen years in both Kingston and Huonville and greatly values the relationships built with her many long-term clients over that time. Outside of work she has a passion for art and spends her free time pursing creative projects and spending time with family.
Ella Morrison – Reception and Office Admin (currently on maternity leave)
Since graduating from college, Ella gained practical experience across various industries before settling into office administration. She finds satisfaction in assisting our clients using her organisational and problem-solving skills. In her free time Ella enjoys sewing, playing social sport, and renovating her ninety-year-old house.
Patrick Harnwell – Junior Accountant
Patrick commenced his accounting career straight from year 12, initially gaining experience with another firm before joining our team. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Business at the University of Tasmania while continuing to develop his practical skills within the profession. Outside of work, he plays both football and cricket, and enjoys spending his time fishing, kayaking, and getting outdoors.
Aela Macmichael – Reception and Office Admin
Aela brings over three years of customer service experience to her new role in reception and admin. She is completing a Bachelor of Business (accounting major) at Queensland University of Technology. Outside of work she has danced for 14 years. Since finishing dance, she likes to keep an active lifestyle by going to the gym and walking her dog.
